My wife and I have been going every week sometimes twice a week. Food is excellent. I've tried near everything on the menu and it's all good . Great atmosphere and the salad bar is phenomenal.

Great service from Kenna! The food was as always, great! Smoked tri tip, fresh salad & a tasty margarita at a tasty price to boot! Lots of atmosphere, perfect theme! Would love to see the smoker on the patio, like the old place! A new fave!!!

I've driven by the Mining company for years and hadn't tried until last week. I had company visiting and they wanted BBQ ribs and I looked on Yelp and found so many good reviews we tried it. The service was excellent and the environment is fun with a old California theme. The portions are VERY generous so come hungry. The ribs were dynamite!

First time here. Friendly hostess, sat down in a booth, not many people. Our waiter was not very professional...very casually dressed, ungroomed and nervous. We had questions about the menu as they have two menus, the regular one and then one attached to what was like the happy hour specials. We ordered a glass of wine, brisket/ribs and the baseball sirloin. Ribs are great, brisket was tough and very smoked. Sirloin was awesome, tender, flavorful and perfectly medium rare. Sad part was other tables were getting rolls and butter when they were sat down but we never were offered them. There was enough food so bread would have filled us up. Anyways, food is gebe

Love this place! Nice & clean inside and we sat in the bar for happy hour prices on drinks. Great service. I got the Cadillac margarita that had a nice punch to it and was good. Nice cold Stella for my wife on draft. We got the endless soup & salad bar. So glad, as mentioned before, salad bars are back and this is one of the best ones! Lots of good and fresh things to choose from even several different lettuce options. My wife loves their homemade thousand island dressing. Their blue cheese is really good too. I got the tri-tip chili 1st and it's excellent. Want a bucket of it next time! I tried their turkey and rice soup and it was pretty good, but went back to the chili. Just had to have more of it. My wife loves their cheesy potato soup and it is good. We'll be back.

Interesting place. I just ventured into the bar as my car was charging at the charging station. Thankfully, they had WiFi because cel service was not giving me charging updates. By time I was on the WiFi, I had to run out, handing my card to the bar tender, saying "don't take my drink away!" As I ran out. The bar tender kept my food, drink, and credit card safe while I moved my car to a non charging area. All in all, a nice and quiet place. The sign for happy hour is what enticed me in and Saturdays special is a $7 Caddy Marg! Just the thing I was looking for! Knowing I didn't have a lot of time, I just ordered from the bar menu. I got the Johnny's Bar Tri-Tip. I was still able to pick the temp, and I picked mid rare. Which is a good choice for this dish as the Ajou is hot and continues to add doneness to the beef. Next time I venture to this spot, I'll try the tacos!

I was so sad knowing the mining company was closing as I have been going since I was a kid, but so excited to see they have a new location! Located where the old Phils bbq was. The inside definitely doesn't compare to the old location where it felt like you were in a mine, but it was pretty close! I love how they kept a lot of the decor and still made it feel the same. The bar and main restaurant are separate. The bar was large, with a popcorn maker, a fireplace, and plenty of TVs. The main restaurant also had tons of TVs, and plenty of seating. The food is still absolutely incredible. The salad bar is fresh and large. The ribs were double the size, they were HUGE and still so tender and delicious. Food is excellent, I noticed they did raise the prices from their old spot but the portions were larger. Service was fine, we had someone who was getting trained. Overall, I'm so glad they reopened. This will always be a great spot to eat, drink, and catch up with friends and family.
